Abdul Hamid completed his pharmacy studies in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, in 2002 and opened Silvassa’s first 24-hour medical store, Seva Medical & General Store, in 2003. Located beside Seva Clinic, the store offers a wide range of Allopathic, Generic, Ayurvedic medicines, cosmetics, surgical items, and Unani remedies, along with snacks, ice creams, and cold drinks to meet public demands. At the time of opening, Seva Medical was the only medical store providing round-the-clock service, while others closed at night. Known for his kind heart and friendly nature, Abdul Hamid is a respected figure in Silvassa and an active member of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli Chemist Association. His dedication to serving the community with his medical store has earned him daily praise and gratitude from the people of Silvassa.
